As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing the most magical moments in people’s lives. Every wedding has its own unique charm, and the recent autumn wedding of Hannah and Jeff at Montgomery Farms in Henryville, Indiana was no exception.

The stage was set on a stunning fall day where the weather was as capricious as it was captivating. Periods of stormy weather added an unexpected, yet beautifully dramatic backdrop to an otherwise perfect day.

The couple chose a rustic barn for their ceremony, a nod to their love for simplicity and authenticity. The barn’s antique charm, combined with the rustic, natural beauty of Montgomery Farms, created an irresistible ambiance that was both intimate and grand.

One of the day’s most precious moments came before the ceremony itself: the first look. This wasn’t your traditional bride-and-groom first look, but rather a soon-to-be stepfather and stepdaughter first look. Jeff’s first glance at Hannah’s daughter, adorned in her mother’s wedding dress, was a heartwarming moment that I, as a photographer, was honored to immortalize. His eyes filled with emotion, reflecting the profound bond they had already begun to form.
